Greetings to everyone who is here today. My name is Osifekun Abiodun, and I am requesting help to raise funds for my wife, Osifekun Tosin who was diagnosed with breast cancer (invasive ductal carcinoma) and also currently pregnant.
This is the first time that I need to request financial support, to help to cover my wife’s current health expenses. I will briefly explain: In 2023, she was diagnosed with breast mass invasive ductal carcinoma @ Federal Medical Centre (FMC). She underwent surgery, followed by immunohistochemistry in January 2024 @ University College of Hospital (UCH) Ibadan. The outcome was triple negative invasive carcinoma. As a result, UCH determined that Chemotherapy Treatment should start by the second week of February 2024 of which the cost is much more expensive beyond my control. She is advised to have at least six doses of chemotherapy; three of these doses of chemotherapy will be before giving birth and the remaining doses will be completed after birth.
Before chemotherapy can be administered to her, we need to do some additional tests e.g. echo test, blood counting etc.
Following that, all the respective tests must be repeated to verify the status of her health and determine the new oncology plan to follow. My request for help is aimed at raising funds for these tests and chemotherapy treatment. Thank you in advance.
